All 4 Hood Warfare 2 Maps
Hood Warfare 2 launches with four maps, each built with a mix of open streets and interiors — “hold down the streets or take the fight indoors, with different routes and positions to learn on each map.” Here’s what each one plays like and how to win on it.
The maps
Downtown

The layout: The flagship city block — storefronts, interiors, alleys and rooftops layered around open streets. Multiple vertical positions overlook the main crossings.
How it plays: The core loop is street-vs-interior. Open streets punish anyone crossing without a smoke; interiors reward fast SMG hands. Learn the through-building routes and you’ll never have to cross a hot street twice.
Key tip: rooftops win Turf War but die fast in GangBang. Take high ground for objectives, drop down to fight.
Suburbs

The layout: Residential blocks — houses with enterable rooms, yards, porches, fences, and longish mid-range sightlines down the streets.
How it plays: The most “traditional shooter” map. Assault rifles dominate the street fights, while yard-to-yard flanking rewards players who read the fences. Houses make strong objective holds — breaking into a held house is a whole mini-game.
Key tip: rotate through backyards, not streets. Porches and windows are free kills on anyone running the road.
The Trenches

The layout: The grittiest map — tight industrial lanes, corridors and chokepoints with short, brutal sightlines.
How it plays: Constant close-range chaos. Shotguns and fast SMGs thrive; snipers suffer. Every lane connects to another, so map knowledge (knowing which lane exits where) beats pure aim.
Key tip: in Chaos mode this map is a meat grinder — pick your fights by sound, and never take the same lane twice in a row.
Chicago Mall

The layout: Fully indoor warfare — shops, corridors, atriums and escalators across multiple levels.
How it plays: CQB everywhere. Holding the escalators and atrium sightlines controls the map, while shop fronts create endless peek-duels. Sound is huge indoors — run loud and you’re dead.
Key tip: verticality is the win condition. Fighting one floor below or above an enemy who can’t reach you is the safest kill in the game.
Best modes per map

| Suburbs | Destroy The Block, Turf War | You hate mid-range duels |
| The Trenches | Chaos, Chain Snatch | You’re running a sniper |
| Chicago Mall | Hit A Lick, Chaos | You need to hear footsteps — it’s loud |
Maps FAQ
How many maps are in Hood Warfare 2?
Four at launch: Downtown, Suburbs, The Trenches, and Chicago Mall. New maps are the most-requested content — check our updates page for additions.
Which map is best for beginners?
Downtown. It’s the flagship map most lobbies fill on, and its mix of interiors and streets teaches you both halves of the game. Learn its through-building routes first.
Can you play maps in custom bot matches?
Yes — choose your map, mode, and match settings, and add bots. It’s the fastest way to learn spawn flow before facing real lobbies.
Are there night versions or variants of maps?
Not at launch. The four maps ship as single versions; lighting/variant requests are common in the community wishlist.
